Senior Manager - Project Controls

Our team in Aberdeen are looking for a Project Controls Manager to based at AIBP office in Dyce, Aberdeen.  

Implementation and management of project controls functions within the project. Manage all project controls personnel on the project and ensure that detailed planning and commercial performance is provided in accordance with company procedures and the contract. This will include cost and contract administration, change management, cost estimating and forecasting, planning, supply chain and document control.

• Deliver the function of Project Services to the project
• Evaluate mechanisms of the Contract and propose strategies for optimising income and minimising risks, liabilities and expenditures.
• Ensure that all changes in scope of work/contract are approved by Client. Evaluate the contractual basis for requests for changes to the contract towards Client based on internal project requirements and from sub-contractors or suppliers. Ensure that all estimates are reviewed before issued to Client.
• Negotiate contractual matters such as interpretation of Contract,
• Negotiate requirements for estimation, planning, cost control, document control, invoicing and reporting with the Client.
• Ensure that essential mechanisms of the contract are clear and understood in the project organisation.
• Provide comprehensive planning, cost control, change control, analysis and reporting against agreed project budgets.

• Proficient in Project Controls key Functions
• Considerable experience in similar project controls / project services role (10+ years)
• Demonstrable experience of planning and commercial management in the oil and gas industry.
• Highly numerate
